Foot Care Benefits
Routine foot care to inspect and prevent foot ulcers has long been touted by the CDC and the World Health Organization as one of the cheapest and easiest ways to ensure quality of life and prevent diabetes-related amputations.
Foot Care Includes:
- Cleaning of feet – Soaking for 5-10 minutes
- Inspection – Monitor for foot problems related to diabetes & poor circulation
- Cleaning around cuticles & under nails
- Trimming & filing of toenails
- Buffing around corns and calluses
- Applying lotion & massage
- Education on proper foot care
Pedicure Cost: $35 Per Visit
Manicure available with purchase of a pedicure. Includes clipping, file shaping and cuticle care: $10.
Patients with more serious problems are referred to their family physician or a podiatrist.
